September 29, 1972 was the date of the most tabu surf contest ever held at Waikiki Beach. We all know how it ended but now for the first time we can commemorate that fateful day with a frame worthy archival quality fine art print. Featuring the Barry Williams approved image that inspired the Groovy Greg Tiki Mug and distressed to give it an aged look, this print is sized identically to vintage concert posters.

The artwork is printed on premium hot press bright white smooth matte paper that is archival grade, acid free, and made of 100% cotton rag. The stock is a hefty 17 mil (330 gsm) and capable of lasting well over 100 years.

This is a limited edition of 100 prints and each will be hand numbered. We released the first 50 in 2022 and they all sold out shortly. We have finally got around to printing the remaining 50 and had Barry Williams sign all of them! When they’re gone they’re gone!

Measures 14 inches wide by 22 inches tall.

Prints will be rolled and shipped in a very sturdy tube.
