"The Hungry Warrior" Islands Phoenix Tribute Mug
***FREE SHIPPING IN THE USA, discounted elsewhere***
The Hungry Warrior is the exclusive event tiki mug for the 2nd annual Superstition Village Tiki Marketplace in 2023. The mug is based on the original menu cover art from The Islands Polynesian Restaurant. This legendary Phoenix, Arizona tiki establishment opened in 1958 and served the original generation of tiki fans until sometime in the mid 1980s. 2023 marks what would have been The Island’s 65th Anniversary so we thought it was a fitting time to do a tribute! Only 150 of these mugs were made by the incredibly talented sculptor and mug producer Patrick Vassar at Monkey Skull Studio in St. Petersburg, Florida.
All mugs include a custom made skull design swizzle stick that were hand crafted in the USA from high grade food safe 1/8" thick acrylic and non-toxic food safe paint. Also includes an exclusive cocktail recipe by legendary Arizona mixologist, Dan Choiniere (aka Tiki Dan).
Mugs measure 8.5" tall and hold approximately 12oz of liquid.
This is a limited edition of 150 mugs. Mugs are in hand and will ship as soon as possible.
*Please note these mugs were hand made and there will be slight variations in glaze texture, colors, and surface appearance. Please review our return policy if you have any questions.
**Mugs will be double boxed with plenty of padding for a safe journey.
